Welcome

Mayfield is a thriving one form entry primary school with a strong reputation within our local community, which is something we are all extremely proud of.

We became part of Cranmer Education Trust (CET) in January 2016. This was a really exciting stage in Mayfield’s development and we look forwards to growing our partnership further with CET and other schools within our Multi-Academy Trust.

Our aim is to become a centre of excellence in the heart of our community; a place where all children achieve, where families feel valued and supported, and where staff are encouraged to shine and deliver the very best opportunities for all learners. Together, we believe we can make a real difference.

Moving forwards, we have one priority for our school. We must ensure that the education and provision at Mayfield is high quality and enables every child to succeed. Each child must be provided with the very best teaching and learning, an excellent curriculum and strong pastoral support, in order to thrive and reach their full potential.

Our children must be able to compete with the increasing demands of the primary curriculum. There cannot be a limit put on what any of our children can achieve and our joint expectations of every child must be high. We need to work together to ensure that each child leaves primary school; prepared for secondary school and with the skills that ultimately improve their life chances. This is a highly competitive world and we need to ensure that all children at Mayfield can compete.

We are incredibly proud of our school and what we are trying to build. If you require further information about Mayfield, please feel free to make contact with the school and we will be happy to discuss some of our work further or arrange a visit to the school.

Best wishes,
